Police said the suspect started talking to the victim and tried to solicit her for sex. She refused and got off the bus at the next stop, which was near the Waialae area. The suspect followed her, police said, grabbed her and tried to sexually assault her. The victim was able to fight off the man and flee.

Honolulu police are looking for a man wanted in connection with an attempted sex assault last week. On Tuesday, Nov. 21 at around 9:45 p.m., the victim was on the city bus when she was approached by the man. Police say he tried to solicit her for sex. The victim refused and got off at the next bus stop.
