| Inclement weather forces closures Due to inclement weather conditions and unpredictable river height levels, schools, parks and landfills were closed Friday. Hanalei School was closed and, as a precaution, students attending Kapaa Middle and Kapaa High School who reside in Hanalei, Wainiha and Haena were also released early.
